As a believer, you must understand that you don’t need to cry or beg God to bless you. The moment you received Jesus, the blessings of Abraham were automatically conferred upon you. You are already blessed with everything you’ll ever need in life—you just need to believe it and remain conscious of it.
You’re not striving to be blessed; you are the embodiment of blessing. Let these verses stir up your faith and deepen your understanding of what rightfully belongs to you in Christ:
- I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed – Genesis 12:2-3
- So all who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith – Galatians 3:9
- Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’—in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith – Galatians 3:13-14
- And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you – Galatians 3:29
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places – Ephesians 1:3
- Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers – 3 John 1:2
- Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause, and let them say continually, ‘Let the Lord be magnified who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant – Psalm 35:27
- Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession – Psalm 2:8
- And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work – 2 Corinthians 9:8
- And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus – Philippians 4:19
